Customers who had pre-ordered Gears of War 3 on the Norwegian store Elkjoep(Elkjøp) found themselves very happy when they this previous saturday received their copy of the game. Elkjoep did something wrong and sent out many copies to eager players.. No one understood why it came 10 days early, nor did anyone believe their eyes when the long awaited game showed up in their mailbox.
One of the first players in the world was a friend of mine, and when he said he had gotten it, I can honestly say, I did not believe it. When a proof picture showed up on my feed, I had only one thought in my mind: www.elkjop.no ! I ordered it immideatly so I too could join the fun! But now both Microsoft and Windows have responded and they will fix this problem (unfortunately);
“This is new for us but something we will immediately follow. “Gears of War 3? shall not, under any circumstances be sold before the launch date on 20 September and violations of this is something we look at very seriously” said the lead of Retail, Sales and Marketing at Microsoft Norway.”
And elkjoep does not know what happened,, but will do all they can to solve this problem..
“We are very keen to keep these deadlines. Right here we do not know what has happened. We informed Microsoft yesterday. Now we examine what has happened, so it does not happen again,” said communications manager at the retailer.”
I sure as hell hope they will fix the problem tomorrow, so I can get the game or else they will put a harsh on my gaming buzz.. So if no posts hit here tomorrow, I probably will be mad, and if a post does appear, pictures of the cover will too.
