A rant about Windows 8

Many rumors are floating around these day about the up-coming Windows 8. Who doesn't want see a new OS, completely redesigned? Well, I think there are many people who don't care, but many do care as well. And for you who cares, this is for you.

Today a new picture of the OS appeared, but as for my opinion it looks amazingly fake. Sure it looks interesting(!) but it is still fake.. If you look closer, you can see the start logo overlap with the Windows Explorer icon on the taskbar, which they would never do, because it appears more sloppy than awesome.

But dont be dissapointed, I come carrying more rumors! It is also said that you can now mount ISO-files by just right-clicking (or left clicking if you're a leftie) and choose "Mount ISO-file". Today, to mount an ISO-file, we need to use a program made for mounting, like Daemon Tools Lite.

Windows 8 will be "special" because it will be totally revamped anf re-designed. Or so far that is what we have seen. Instead of the taskbar it seems as if they are changing to boxes, which are similar to the tablet-version OS. I do not like this, because I am quite fond of the design of Windows 7. It is great for work and school, though, with the right specifications, it runs games fantastically. And as a previous Vista-user, the Windows 7 upgrade was a massive improvement! If you have done the same OS jump, you know how big of a failure Vista was. But with Windows 8 I think they are going out of their league, by creating something that belongs in 2027 in the world of Deus Ex.

But I might be wrong though, and i sincerely hope I am, but as for now we'll just wait and see...
